What is This Blog?!
Welcome back honey!If you're here, it's probably because you googled "A Good Excuse" in one form or another. I know what it's like to be searching the internet for usable excuses for school or work. Before I started this blog, finding good excuses was next to impossible. Sure, there were a few good ones here and there, but for the most part they were all stupid, unbelievable rubbish that would only make a given situation worse.
That's why I started A Good Excuse Blog. I want this blog to be the internet hub for all things excuse-related. Under the pseudonym ExcuseGal I have started by listing my own excuses and stories, but my hope is that I will eventually find enough online followers that I'll start to get a whole network of excuse-experts contributing content.
The excuses here at A Good Excuse Blog are all field-tested by me in my real life. I started keeping an Excuse-Log a while back and I've made notes on which excuse work and which don't. I'm a college student and I've had a lot of day-jobs in my life, which means lots of bosses and teachers to try excuses out on. For the most part, every excuse on the A Good Excuse Blog has been verified to work by me, ExcuseGal, personally.
Who is The ExcuseGal? Well, I can't actually give you any info about myself personally. This is because I am a real person and I have a real life, with real friends, teachers, co-workers and bosses. If I were to reveal my true identity to the world, then nobody would ever believe me (or my excuses) ever again. It is in my best interest to keep my online persona and my real persona separate. This ensures that I will be able to continue posting new and awesome excuses to the blog and you'll be able to keep using them for your own life.
